Although there have been many changes in the name of the Corbin Russwin ED8000, these Corbin Russwin exit devices have changed very little over the last 40 years. The Corbin Russwin ED8000 is considered their economy line with a painted powder coat finish. These Corbin exit devices are very heavy-duty and have metal end caps which many economy lines do not have.
Corbin Russwin ED6000 Series Exit Device – The Corbin Russwin ED6000 series has been discontinued. These Corbin Russwin exit devices were in production from about 1975 until 2015, and went by the Corbin 3729 and Russwin 736 for the rim device. The surface vertical rods went by Corbin 3120 and Russwin 792.
Corbin Russwin ED5000 Series Exit Device – The ED5000 series from Corbin Russwin has been around for 20 years. It is designed for wide stile doors and comes in rim, surface vertical rod, mortise and concealed vertical rod models. We stock most replacement parts for the Corbin Russwin ED5000.
Corbin Russwin ED4000 Series Exit Device – The ED4000 series is just like the Corbin Russwin ED5000, but it should be used on narrow stile doors. A narrow stile door is usually an aluminum framed glass storefront door.

The Corbin Russwin 651F61 Red Lever Spring is the same part as the Yale Lever Trim Spring. Used on Yale and Corbin Russwin LHR or RH Doors on there outside trim Lever Handles. The spring has an 1-1/4" OD and 1-1/8" ID.

Corbin Russwin 704F66 ED4000/5000 Series End Cap
The Corbin Russwin 704F66 ED4000/5000 Series End Cap is their newer impact resistant cover. The package ships with the End Cap, Bracket and Mounting Screws. The new bracket my not fit your existing holes, but this end cap is a substantial improvement over the previous versions. Our image shows the Stainless Steel version. This end cap is known as the 704F66 for Corbin Russwin, and ECK7 for the Yale version.
