The International Door Closer 1803BC-P - Fixed Spring Closer is one of the heaviest duty closers in the International product line. It offers a 10 year warranty, and is Grade 1 rated, which is the highest rating you can have. The closer features three adjustment valves for closing,latching speeds and one for back check. The cylinder is constructed of precision cast aluminum. It ships with a regular arm and parallel arm bracket. This is one of the last closers out there to still have sizing. By sizing I mean each door closer has a spring size of different tension so the closer is selected depending on door size and wether it is interior or exterior. These days we usually use this door closer as a replacement of existing doors. This door closer is for use on doors up to 42” interior or 36” exterior doors.
